Tri Delta ♥’s St. Jude!

All throughout the country Tri Deltas have concentrated their philanthropic support toward Children’s Cancer Research. Nationally, Tri Delta has formed a partnership with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. At St. Jude, the doctors and researchers are responsible for the care of children with life threatening cases of cancer and other terminal illnesses. We have events that we organize in the fall and spring semesters to raise money for St. Jude and awareness of Children’s Cancer.

Our Events

Fall Semester

• Sincerely Yours

This event challenges each chapter member to send at least 40 letters to family, friends and neighbors encouraging them to make a contribution to St. Jude. The letters, envelopes, and postage are provided by St. Jude . We all go to the chapter house with our address list and spend time filling out the letters and envelopes. Sincerely Yours is our event that raises the most money for St. Jude!

 

• Delta Dodgeball

This is our Dodgeball tournament that is held in November and we open it to all Greek chapters on campus. It is held in MacAfee Gym right on campus. The winner gets a trophy!

Spring Semester

• Twist of HOPE

A big twister tournament that we have on our front yard at the Chapter House. Greek houses, campus organizations, friends, and family all participate. We have food at the event and this past year held our first silent auction which raised over $600!
